Base pay range

$65,500.00/yr - $/yr

JOB TITLE: Residential Clinical Supervisor I or II

LOCATION: Boardman - Columbia River Ranch

FLSA: Exempt 1.0

FTE (expectation to work 40 hours per week)

SUPERVISOR: Facility Administrator

PAY GRADE: Clinical Supervisor I - B11 ($65,500-$98,300 annually, depending on experience)

Clinical Supervisor II - B 13 ($78,600-$119,500 annually, depending on experience)

Description

The Clinical Supervisor of Secure Residential Treatment Facilities plans, assigns, directs, and reviews the clinical work of personnel. They ensure that the relevant Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR’s) are adhered to, monitor quality assurance, and develop and monitor treatment protocols. In addition, the position will carry a caseload and conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide quality clinical care. Clinical services, while delivered in a residential facility, fall under the scope of outpatient services per the Oregon Health Authority.

As such, services fall under the outpatient section of the Oregon Administrative Rules and are included in the GOBHI (OHP) contract requirements.

Supervision

Supervision Received:

This position is co-supervised by the Facility Administrator and the Residential Clinical Manager of Community Counseling Solutions. The Facility Administrator is responsible for supervising all things that are not related to the clinical functions of the position. The Residential Clinical Manager, working under the Clinical Director, provides all clinical oversight of the position.

Supervision Exercised

This position directly supervises all assigned clinical staff at the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and oversight on a daily and regular basis to assigned clinicians and Qualified Mental Health Associates. Ensure that care is of the highest clinical standards and consistent with CCS philosophy and policy.
  • Ensure that assigned clinicians are apprised of current evidence based practices (EBP’s), implement EBP’s, and ensure that the agency is meeting or exceeding standards of good clinical outcomes.
  • Ensure that all paperwork by the clinical staff is completed in a professional and timely manner, and provide supervision when this goal is not being met.
  • Ensure that the quality of clinical work is superior and completed in a professional manner, and provide supervision when this goal is not being met.
  • This position will participate in the on-call rotation at Lakeview Heights and may be asked to participate in on-call rotation for crisis services.
  • Ensure knowledge and application of CCS personnel policies and procedures.
  • This position recruits, hires, and trains new staff. They provide supervision and conduct performance evaluations. They follow policies for employee discipline and termination when necessary. Works to resolve conflict as appropriate and provides positive leadership.
  • When necessary, in consultation with the Facility Administrator, Human Resources Specialist, and/or the Executive Director, engage in disciplinary actions.
