Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to provide essential services within a K-12 school environment located in Portland, OR. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with early learners, supporting their speech and language development through evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.

* Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.

* Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals.

* Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards.

* Manage a caseload of 25-40 early learning students, providing direct therapy in line with best practices.

Qualifications and

Experience:

* Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).

* Eligibility or current licensure for school-based practice.

* Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.

* Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings.

* Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

* Work Arrangement:
Hybrid/In-Person (3-4 days in person per week)

* Contract Duration:
Immediate start through June 10, 2026

* Caseload: 25-40 students, primarily early learners
