Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring current state PT licensure and BLS certification.

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required for those licensed on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent accepted
• 2+ years of Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Active, unrestricted license in the state of submission required

• Critical access medical center setting within a 25-bed facility
• Day shift schedule, 7:30 AM-5:30 PM, 4x10 hours per week
• Plans and conducts treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions
• Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care
• Completes evaluations and establishes individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Provides therapy interventions using appropriate protocols and techniques
• Completes comprehensive clinical documentation within established deadlines
• Supervises assigned physical therapy assistants
• Accepts local candidates with no radius rule; local rates match travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Candidates with a prior licensure or certification issue will not be considered
• Required vaccinations are mandatory as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
