Our healthcare partner in Gold Beach, Oregon, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join their oncology team and support the pharmacy operations in their new Oncology Center.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and effective preparation of medications, working closely with pharmacists and the oncology care team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting oncology pharmacy operations, including the preparation and handling of hazardous medications in compliance with USP standards
• Working collaboratively with pharmacists and the oncology care team
• Managing and compounding chemotherapy and other hazardous medications
• Providing support in a rural healthcare setting

Requirements for this position include:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license (preferably in hand at time of application)
• Recent hospital and/or clinical pharmacy experience required
• Experience with USP hazardous drug handling and compounding required
• Oncology pharmacy experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred
• Need 1 year experience in setting
