Housekeeping Inspector

The Housekeeping Inspector ensures the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms according to company standards. This role involves inspecting rooms after they have been cleaned, providing feedback to management, and reporting maintenance or other issues.

• Inspect, check, and document the cleanliness of all assigned units or rooms using the proper checklist and established procedures.
• Replenish all supplies and linens for each unit and ensure proper use of all issued equipment.
• Check inventory in units or rooms including linen, remote controls, flowers, dishware, paper products, cleaning supplies, and electric appliances.
• Inspect and document each unit or room daily for inventory control before and after checkout following all procedures.
• Communicate with Rooms Coordinators, Resort Services, and Housekeeping Supervisors to request needed supplies and other necessities.
• Report to management any unsatisfactory cleaning work or missing inventory following established procedures.
• Report all Lost and Found items immediately to Security and any maintenance requests to Engineering.
• Assist with cleaning units or rooms when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Two years of supervisory experience in a related position is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience as a Housekeeper and/or Housekeeping Inspector is required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and understanding of detailed instructions and departmental policies and procedures.
• Ability to regularly lift, pull, push, and move up to 35 pounds.
