Temp-to-Hire | $25–$30/hour DOE
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
We’re seeking a detail-oriented AP/AR Specialist to support daily accounting operations, vendor management, and internal administrative needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of accounts payable, accounts receivable support, and project-based work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process and prepare invoices and payments (checks, EFTs, online payments)
- Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor and payment inquiries
- Reconcile accounts payable activity, vendor statements, and system reports
- Review and code invoices and expense reports to appropriate accounts and cost centers
- Manage payment schedules, discounts, tax verification, discrepancies, credits, and stop payments
- Process employee expense reimbursements
- Maintain accurate accounting ledgers and organized digital records
- Coordinate bank-related activities related to payables
- Assist with accounts receivable and support the Controller with special projects
- Order office supplies, manage inventory, and handle administrative tasks
- Provide internal and external customer support via phone, email, and messaging
- Maintain confidentiality, collaborate effectively within a team, and perform other duties as assigned
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or a similar accounting role
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service and professional communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Great Plains Dynamics, and Quick Books Desktop preferred
- Ability to learn new systems and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
