Volunteer - Social Media Specialist

Pantheon Arts Community Storytelling is a non‑profit located in the Greater Portland, OR area dedicated to cultivating and amplifying artistic voices through a variety of services and activities, including hybrid events. We invite volunteers to become Sparktenders, fans of creation who keep our mission “Enkindle Your Inner Creator” alive.

This part‑time, remote volunteer role requires a commitment of 10‑20 hours a week. You will craft social media posts, maintain a digital presence with newly‑made styling guides, and help project our collective light online.

As the Social Media Specialist, you will:

• Create and schedule posts on platforms such as Constant Contact and Substack, and manage newsletters; generate posts and graphics that are posted and “reeled”; develop a cohesive voice online.
• Connect and engage community members through shared opportunities, events, and more.

• Familiarity with Constant Contact, Substack, Eventbrite, and standard social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In) – we don’t use X.
• Ability to utilize pre‑built styling guides, post types, and other resources, and add your own flair to them – ideally you have experience with accessible designs.
• Ability to work/engage collaboratively over Discord/Slack, and/or in‑person.
• A strong sense of communication and interpersonal skills, or openness to practice.
• Experience or interest in the arts and creative industries – interest is a minimum.
• Passion for storytelling, creativity, or community empowerment.
