We are currently looking for a full-time non-exempt Bilingual Teller Associate to join our team! In this role, you will provide an exceptional service experience for SELCO Community Credit Union’s members, team members, and guests.
This position will work onsite at one of our SELCO branches in Eugene, Oregon. The Bilingual Teller Associate is only eligible for in-branch work arrangements. The successful candidate will need to be available to work Monday through Friday between 8am and 6pm and some Saturdays 9:45am to 2:15pm.
COMPENSATION
Base Salary: The full salary range for the Bilingual Teller Associate position is $20.05 to $27.10 per hour, with new hires generally starting between $22.45 to $24.75 per hour, based on relevant knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
Incentives: This position is eligible for monthly incentives ranging from $5.00 to $75.00 per sold product/service.
Annual Incentive: All SELCO team members receive an annual incentive based on the previous year’s strategic business goals. This incentive is calculated using the team member’s prior year eligible earnings and ranges from 0%-12%, with the average payout over the last five years being 11.07%.

Essential Functions (please see the position description for a comprehensive list):
- Perform teller transactions accurately and efficiently, following instructions and procedures, including handling cash.
- Help protect members and SELCO from losses by detecting errors and preventing fraud.
- Assist team members and other departments as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities (please see the position description for a comprehensive list):
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Exceptional customer service skills, applying the GVAL-HI approach:
Greet, Value, Ask, Listen, Help, Invite. - Ability to identify member needs and cross-sell SELCO’s products and services effectively.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least six (6) months of cash handling and customer service or sales experience.
