Position Summary
Oregon Tech is accepting applications for History undergraduate Adjunct Instructors for the Humanities and Social Sciences ( HSS ) Department.
The Humanities and Social Sciences Department is recruiting a pool of adjunct instructors for possible part-time teaching positions to support the department’s General Education courses. Specifically, the department seeks adjunct instructors to teach:
Intro to History, History of Medicine, History of Energy, Globalization, among others.
Teaching Modality: Appointments may include courses offered on-line, in-person on-campus, hybrid, or related clinic or lab; or in an alternative format responsive to state and local requirements.
Location: The primary campus locations include the Klamath Falls campus, the Portland-Metro campus (located in Wilsonville, OR), and online. Teaching may be conducted remotely/online, within the United States.

Additional Requirements
- Master’s Degree or higher in History or related field.
- Experience teaching at the college level.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis at the time of hire; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or other employment-based immigration support.
- Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard).
