Position Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill two part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) positions at Oregon State University Cascades ( OSU
-Cascades). This position will be located in Bend, Oregon. This position will support OSU
-Cascades’ Transportation Program Manager with administrative and outreach activities. This could include outreach to students and support with management of parking, fleet vehicles, and transportation options.
Anticipated wage $17.00 per hour.

Position Duties
- Provide customer support for parking services.
- Monitor and report parking trends on and around campus
- Support OSU
-Cascades’ Transportation Options Incentive Program – offering gift cards and other swag to those who choose to bike, walk, carpool, or ride the bus to campus. - Monitor parking lots for compliance with parking policies, issuing parking citations as necessary.
- Promote Transportation Options through events, developing and distributing educational materials, and encouraging students to consider carpooling, biking, and other active transportation options.
- Represent OSU
-Cascades at special events and “tabling” at events. - Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
- Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
- Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
- High School student:
Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program - Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
- Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
- Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
- Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*
