Electrical Engineer – Portland, Oregon
Immediate Hiring for Electrical Engineer in Portland, Oregon.
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to support power distribution design projects, with exposure to mission-critical facilities and building systems. This role offers opportunities for technical growth, leadership, and collaboration on multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
, Renewable Energy Engineering
, or a related field - 4+ years of Electrical Engineering experience
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards
- Experience with power distribution design projects (mission-critical facilities a plus)
- Strong understanding of electrical power system equipment, including switch gear, transformers, panel boards, generators, and UPS systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience acting as a project or technical lead
- Demonstrated team leadership and client interaction experience
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Forward-thinking mindset with a passion for buildings and construction and a desire to learn best practices
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Working knowledge of Revit and/or BIM software
