Ticket Operations Manager – Portland Trail Blazers @ the Rose Quarter

OverviewAs the Ticket Operations Manager – Rose Quarter, you will lead the Ticket Operations Team in executing box‑office operations for concerts, events, family shows, and non‑tenant sporting events at the Rose Quarter.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Manage a dynamic range of events, including concerts, family shows, and sporting events.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth event operations, preparing CAD/event setups, setting rebates, service charges, and credit card fees for all points of sale. Work directly with promoters on setup, reporting, and management of holds. Reconcile financial statements after each event.
- Lead recruitment, training, and evaluation of part‑time staff; maintain performance standards and address deficiencies.
- Serve as liaison between the Ticket Office and ticketing system support, coordinating sales, promotional discounts, and financial account issues.
- Provide customer service and information to the public in person, by phone, or by email. Respond in a professional, diplomatic, and mature manner.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing event ticket operations, preferably with Ticketmaster utilizing Host, Archtics, and TM1.
- Strong customer orientation with the ability to anticipate internal and external customers’ needs.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and solve complex problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate constructive working relationships.
- Excellent communicative abilities in written and spoken formats.
- Proven experience developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
