We are currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team with the development, assembly, and testing of prototype products and production equipment. This includes processing Task Requests, refurbishing and testing machinery, and maintaining detailed records of engineering studies and tests. You will also assist with writing procedures, developing process control plans, and training production employees on new machines and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Engineering with the development, assembly, and testing of prototype products and production equipment.
  • Process Task Requests for Product Development work.
  • Perform machine refurbishment and testing to support manufacturing.
  • Safely handle chemicals using prescribed PPE.
  • Maintain accurate records and data of engineering studies, tests, and drawings.
  • Identify and document deviations in performance not anticipated in test procedures.
  • Assist in writing procedures and work instructions for machines and processes.
  • Develop process control plans, PFMEAs, and flow charts.
  • Train production employees on new machines and processes as needed.
  • Comply with quality systems procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Conduct tests on electrical or electro-mechanical parts for prototypes and competitor products.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree in a technical field is a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong math and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Valid driver's license to travel between facilities.
  • Working knowledge of gauges, micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and various measuring devices.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
