Role Description

This is a part‑time and remote volunteer position for a Coordinator of Volunteers. The Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training volunteers to support our climate education programs. Day‑to‑day tasks include coordinating volunteer schedules, developing and maintaining relationships with volunteers, conducting outreach to build partnerships, and ensuring effective communication between volunteers and program staff. Additional responsibilities include tracking volunteer participation and providing ongoing support to foster engagement and retention.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Volunteer Training and Volunteer Management
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills
  • Experience in Community Outreach and building partnerships
  • Ability to manage and coordinate volunteers in a remote environment
  • Proven organizational and problem‑solving skills
  • Commitment to addressing climate change and a passion for youth empowerment
  • Familiarity with educational or non‑profit settings is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred
