Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Pre‑Operative Assessment Clinic

* Up to $15k Relocation Assistance Provided*

Join our Pre‑Operative Assessment Clinic as a full‑time Nurse Practitioner, where you’ll work independently as a key clinical expert within a supportive, well‑established, and mission‑driven team. This role offers the opportunity to apply your sharp attention to detail and strong clinical decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced, patient‑centered environment. You’ll collaborate daily with a wide range of medical and surgical specialties to ensure patients are optimally prepared for upcoming procedures, contributing to safe, high‑quality care across the perioperative continuum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides professional service to patients in the assigned practice and demonstrates regard for the dignity of all patients, guests and associates
  • Performs and documents assessments and data collection in an ongoing, timely, accurate, concise and systematic manner while accommodating unexpected changes in patient status
  • Delegates and coordinates tasks and duties of the healthcare team.
  • Renders all services promptly and diligently in accordance with professional and ethical standards of the medical community and scope of practice in which the provider practices.
  • Uses effective communication skills taking into consideration body language, filters, listening, paraphrasing, and questions with customers of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner training program
  • Current Oregon Board of Medical Examiners, unlimited NP license
  • Fulfills requirements of hospital medical staff credentialing process.
  • Maintains active staff membership in good standing with the medical staff of the hospital with all privileges and responsibilities accorded such membership.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS
