Timenow, LLC is looking for a QA/QC Mechanical Technician in Wauna, OR

Role Description:

We seek a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Mechanical Technician to join our team in Brunswick, GA. The candidate will ensure the quality and reliability of mechanical products through testing and inspection, requiring attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to quality.

Location: Wauna, OR (Candidates must reside within 60 miles)

Salary Range: $26.00-$38.00/hr

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee inspections and tests during maintenance performed by contractors on mechanical components to meet standards.
  • Identify and document defects, working with teams for corrective actions.
  • Maintain quality control procedures and NCRs as per client and contractor requirements.
  • Support root cause analysis and preventive measures.
  • Keep accurate records of inspections and tests.
  • Follow established QA/QC procedures and standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or technical degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or QA/QC.
  • Knowledge of mechanical inspection and testing techniques.
  • Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
