Sales Associate

We are seeking a motivated, professional Sales Associate to support business growth by developing customer relationships, generating new opportunities, and managing sales activities from initial contact through close. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building trust, solving customer problems, and contributing to a growing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through outbound outreach, referrals, and inbound leads
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal team members
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and pricing in coordination with management
  • Track leads, opportunities, and customer activity in our internal CRM software
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
  • Attend sales meetings, trainings, and occasional local events as needed
  • Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
  • Travel around Oregon and SW Washington meeting architects, distribution, contractors, subcontractors and building owners.
Qualifications
  • 1–3+ years of sales, customer service, or business development experience (preferred, not required)
  • Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Comfortable with phone calls, email outreach, and face-to-face conversations
  • Organized, self‑motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Basic proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, or Google Workspace
  • Valid driver’s license (if role includes local travel)
Preferred (Nice‑to‑Have)
  • Experience in B2B sales, roofing, construction, building materials, or professional services
  • Familiarity with consultative or relationship‑based selling
  • Ability to read plans, specifications, or technical documents (if applicable)
