How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of AI/ML models and algorithms to drive innovation across various industries, including fleet & EV, Health Benefits, and Corporate Payments

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize impactful use cases for AI/ML applications

  • Participate in rapid prototyping efforts, focusing on learning from experiments and iterating on solutions to identify the most effective approaches

  • Demonstrate creative thinking to develop innovative AI/ML solutions

  • Assist in embedding AI/ML models into web and mobile applications

  • Contribute to the development of solutions leveraging large language models and other advanced AI techniques to tackle complex problems, such as natural language understanding, text generation, and knowledge representation

  • Conduct data analysis and feature engineering to extract valuable insights and improve model performance

  • Collaborate with our AI platform team to design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust AI/ML solutions to solve business problems and improve operational efficiency

  • Monitor and optimize AI/ML models to ensure their accuracy, reliability, and performance in production environments

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and apply them to drive innovation

  • Actively participate in knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team

Experience You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience (e.g., as a AI Scientist), including experience applying advanced analytics to planning and infrastructure problems.

    • OR 6+ years of relevant work experience with a Master’s degree in STEM or a related field

    • OR 3+ years of relevant work experience with a PhD in a related field

  • Advanced experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Python) and database languages (e.g., SQL)

  • Experience aligning generative AI and advanced analytics with business objectives through iterative experimentation, rapid prototyping, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Proven experience designing and deploying Agentic AI workflows, enabling autonomous, goal-driven decision-making processes in dynamic business environments.

  • Comfortable integrating foundation models (e.g., GPT, Claude) with structured and unstructured data for real-time insights and task automation.

  • Hands-on expertise implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines that combine large language models with contextual enterprise knowledge bases for scalable, trustworthy AI solutions.

  • Advanced experience building, cleaning, and testing data quality for data sets preceding modeling

  • Strong problem-framing, problem-solving, project management skills, customer service, and communication skills

  • Deep understanding of modeling and statistical approaches (e.g. logistic regression, linear regression, random forests, etc.)

  • Experience with end-to-end feature development (owning feature definition, roadmap development, and experimentation)

  • Experience distilling informal customer requirements into problem definitions, dealing with ambiguity, and competing objectives
