- 7+ years of experience as a UX researcher/designer or in a related position within digital product teams
- Strong portfolio showcasing process and examples of native product design work
- Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and take initiative in an autonomous work setting
- Familiarity with the US Web Design System and accessibility standards (Section 508 and WCAG 2.1AA)
- Experience working with government agencies
- Knowledge of complex domains and systems
- Previous involvement in outreach, recruitment, and hiring efforts
- Strong willingness to utilize AI tools to improve design outcomes
