What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)- Develop and execute a Generative Engine Optimization strategy to enhance API visibility and ranking
- Analyze how LLMs interpret and recommend APIs, identifying key factors influencing rankings
- Optimize API descriptions, documentation, and metadata for better comprehension by LLMs
- Collaborate with various teams to align traditional SEO and GEO strategies
- Create and maintain a GEO performance dashboard tracking key metrics from LLM-based sources
- 3+ years in SEO, growth marketing, or developer marketing roles
- Understanding of LLMs, AI search, and generative content mechanics
- Strong grasp of API documentation and metadata optimization
- Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven content optimization and A/B testing
- Excellent written communication and prompt engineering skills
- Experience working with APIs
- Familiarity with various AI search platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity
- Background in developer experience and advocacy
- Knowledge of voice search strategies and their differences from traditional searches
