We are seeking highly skilled Data Center Technicians to join a growing IT team supporting cloud computing and AI infrastructure. This role involves break-fix of GPUs, servers, network, and cabling, as well as ticket management using ITSM tools. Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining data center infrastructure, including GPU and network racks, cabling, and server components.

At three key facilities, teams are deploying powerful GPU clusters—critical for high-performance computing, machine learning, and enterprise-scale data processing. This environment operates 24/7 on a 3x4x12 schedule across all core shifts. The operation emphasizes resilience and scalability, and the team is looking for professionals to help make it happen.
AvailablePositions
- Experienced Technicians (L4) – 3+ years of dedicated data center experience, focused on diagnosing and resolving hardware issues.
- Mid-Level Technicians (L3) – 1+ years of experience supporting hardware installation, cabling, and break/fix tasks.
- Front Half Days:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday (6 AM – 6:30 PM) - Front Half Nights:

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday (6 AM – 6:30 PM) - Back Half Nights:

- Deploy and configure GPUs in servers
- Perform break-fix tasks on GPUs, servers, network, and cabling
- Manage tickets using ITSM tools
- Land fully populated GPU or network racks including rack movement, baying, leveling, grounding, hot-air containment, and overhead cable containment trays
- Interpret BOMs to ensure all materials are accounted for
- Install, test, and label copper and fiber infrastructures
- Handle and install optical modules (SFPs, QSFP)
- Scope and clean fibers (SC, LC, MPO styles)
- Rack and stack equipment within existing racks
- Patch fiber and copper cables
- Lead and manage teams effectively
- Travel as required
- Work with DC power and DC powered equipment
- Provide daily communication and document progress using MS Office and digital photos
- Familiarity with telecom engineering designs specific to enterprise-level data centers
- 1-5+ years of deployment and/or break-fix experience in a data center
- Extensive experience with GPU or network rack deployment
- Strong knowledge of Ethernet cabling technologies (copper, fiber SM/MM/MPO)
- Experience with optical modules and fiber cleaning
- Proven leadership experience
- Willingness to travel
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Data center deployment and troubleshooting
- GPU deployment experience (preferred)
- Hardware installation and cabling

Job Type, Location & CompensationThis is a Contract-to-Hire position based out of Boardman, OR.
Pay:
The pay range for this position is $22.36/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits may include medical, dental & vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, and time off.
