EHR Technician

At Columbia River Health, we’re looking for an EHR Site Specialist to help our team get the most out of Epic/OCHIN. Your support will help staff feel confident, keep workflows running smoothly, and make a difference in the care our patients receive.

Maintains, supports and optimises the clinic's electronic health record systems, working with CRH leadership, providers, clinical, administrative staff and OCHIN to improve clinical workflows, operational efficiency, data integrity, privacy, regulatory compliance and revenue-cycle performance. Serves as CRH's primary EHR representative with OCHIN and provides daily application support, training, system maintenance, troubleshooting, reporting, access administration, provider onboarding and workflow optimisation.

Reports to:

IT Manager

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic Life Support certification or the ability to obtain certification within six months of employment
• At least six months of information-technology or electronic-health-record support experience

• Experience with Epic and OCHIN is highly preferred
• Certificate, associate degree, bachelor's degree, or other education in health information technology, computer science, information systems, healthcare, or a related field
• Epic or OCHIN training, certification, or substantial hands-on experience
• Experience supporting clinical workflows, ambulatory healthcare operations, laboratory interfaces, provider onboarding, or revenue-cycle functions
• Candidates with at least two years of medical-field experience may be considered when they also possess relevant Epic or OCHIN EHR experience
