What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Respond promptly to interpreting sessions and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner

Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol

Maintain a professional demeanor throughout interpreting sessions

Remain calm in emergency situations and when speakers are incoherent or upset

Follow client instructions and understand terminology for various industries

What is Required (Qualifications):

Fluency in Chaochow and English with cultural competency

Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills

Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred

Ability to adapt to technology enhancements

High school diploma or equivalent

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Experience in language-related fields such as teaching, translation, or interpretation
