FLSA:
Exempt .83 FTE (expectation to work 40 hours per week).

SUPERVISOR:
School Based Clinical Supervisor Lead (temporary supervisor Clinical Director).

PAY GRADE:

• Clinical Supervisor I Paygrade B11 - Non-Exempt ($54,365 - $81,589 annually prorated at .83 FTE & depending on experience) OR
• Clinical Supervisor II Paygrade B13 - Exempt ($65,238 - $99,185 annually prorated at .83 FTE & depending on experience).

DESCRIPTION:

The Clinical Supervisor-Morrow County School Based, under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor-School Based Lead, is responsible for the day to day oversight of assigned school-based counselors in Morrow County School District (MCSD). They ensure that the relevant Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR’s) are adhered to, monitor quality assurance, and develops and monitor treatment protocols. In addition, this position will fill in as necessary as a school-based counselor at other on an as needed basis, prioritized by the supervisor of this position.

SUPERVISION:

Supervision Received:

• This position is supervised by the Clinical Supervisor-School Based Lead.

Supervision Exercised:

• This position directly supervises all assigned school-based counselors working within the MCSD.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide clinical supervision and oversight on a daily and regular basis to assigned clinicians. Ensure that care is of the highest clinical standards and consistent with CCS philosophy and policy.
• Ensure that assigned MCSD school-based counselors are apprised of current evidence based practices (EBP’s), implements EBP’s, and ensures that the agency is meeting or exceeding standards of good clinical outcomes.
• Ensures the goals of the school-based counselor program are being met within the MCSD.
• Ensure that all paperwork by the school-based staff is completed in a professional and timely manner, and provide supervision when this goal is not being met.
• Ensure that the quality of clinical work is superior and completed in a professional manner, and provide supervision when this goal is not being met.
• Provide after hours emergency services on a 24 hour, rotating basis to adults and children. This includes telephone consultation and crisis intervention in the community.
• Ensure knowledge and application of CCS personnel policies and procedures.
• May initiate holds, provide civil commitment investigations, and work with the hospitals, case workers and the state and other individuals/agencies for all individuals in the civil commitment process.
• This position recruits, hires and trains new staff along with their supervisor, Clinical Director, Human Resources and/or the Executive Director. They provide supervision and conduct performance evaluations. They follow policies for employee discipline and termination when necessary. Works to resolve conflict as appropriate and provides positive leadership.
• When necessary, in consultation with Clinical Director, Human Resources and/or the Executive Director, engage in disciplinary actions.
