• Arrive at work well-rested and prepared, prioritizing safety at all times
• Efficiently dry lumber using computer-controlled kilns
• Perform all duties associated with the Big Lift Operator role
• Operate the 950 equipment to maneuver kiln charges
• Continuously monitor kilns, flash tanks, and condensate tanks
• Manage the flow of lumber on both the green and dry pads
• Maintain clear communication with the Sawmill and Planer departments
• Conduct daily quality checks for the Stacker, Charge Building, and Yard
• Deliver a high-quality product to downstream customers
• Understand and meet throughput expectations
• Perform daily sampling and moisture content testing
• Exhibit self-motivation and initiative
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team

• 3–5 years of kiln operation experience
• Strong understanding of wood properties as they relate to drying processes
• Basic knowledge of kiln maintenance
• Excellent communication skills
