Network Deploy Technician, Infrastructure Delivery – AWS
This opportunity is for U.S. citizens who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces including Reserves, National Guard, and service member spouses.
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure continual access to the cloud. You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Responsibilities- Network Deploy Technician will join AWS to drive the stability and sustainability of next-generation networks and assist in automating and scaling network operations.
- Scale support of several data center locations and assist with capacity management; collaborate with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate project execution as directed by Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers.
- Leverage experience in supporting large-scale enterprise networks, network implementation, and troubleshooting; establish and follow best practices and refine operational procedures.
- Manage work and priorities through ticketing systems and workflows to complete customer requests and projects; collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
- Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
- Specify Power and Cooling requirements and ensure Hardware Racking/Stacking for new equipment.
- Participate in the migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.

- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds
- Work in a 24/7 environment with the ability to participate in primary responder rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
- Work in cramped and/or elevated and/or noisy environments
- Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day
- Ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely

Travel within and outside of the regional work area is required. A reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license are needed; company transportation is not provided.
