Wickman CNC Operator

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Wickman CNC Operator role in Wood Village, OR. • Set up, operate, and monitor Wickman multi-spindle CNC machines to produce precision metal components according to specifications.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure adherence to tight tolerances.
• Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure accurate part production.
• Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced, inspection results, and downtime logs.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure proper operation.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or process issues, escalating when necessary.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Work independently while maintaining strong communication with the production team and supervisors.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating Wickman multi-spindle or CNC screw machines required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Must be able to stand for 10-hour shifts and lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
