Production Associate
Our client is a family-owned lumber re-manufacturing business. Our client is proud to be known as one of the world's largest producers of the highest quality, clear Douglas Fir and Hemlock. They also produce Western Red Cedar and Alaskan Yellow finished lumber for a variety of internal and external applications.

Summary
This is an entry level general labor position. Direct experience is not necessary. This position feeds every other job in the mill and provides the opportunity to learn new skills and grow in the company.

Duties

• Pulling lumber off the line/chain
• Stacking, sorting and packaging lumber for shipment
• Applying bar codes
• General clean-up of work area and yard
• Work in a safe manner at all times and adhere to company safety policies and procedures
• Participate in ongoing safety trainings

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand the entire shift
• Must be comfortable in year around outdoor temperatures, in loud conditions, with airborne particles (sawdust), and working around moving mechanical equipment
• Must be willing to wear required PPE
• Must be a self-motivated team player with good communication skills
• Must be willing to perform repetitive and physical tasks
• Move quickly, consistently, and safely to keep up with the current flow of production

Shift:
Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm
