Senior Buyer

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in aerospace components, is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their team. As a Senior Buyer, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Buyer

Location: Aurora, OR

Pay Range: $30 - $35

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Purchase materials supporting Army Wing Kit production in a manufacturing environment
• Manage procurement of sheet metal, aluminum products, and raw materials
• Issue and manage purchase orders based on material demand signals
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, MOQ, and payment terms with suppliers
• Oversee RTV (Return to Vendor) processes and partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of buyer/procurement experience in manufacturing
• ERP-driven purchasing experience, preferably with SISPRO or similar systems
• Experience buying sheet metal, aluminum products, and raw materials
• Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities effectively
