Location:
Clackamas, OR | Pay: $35.00-$44.00/hour + $3.00/hour Swing Shift Differential
Hilton Tool is a manufacturer of precision-machined components specializing in close-tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, and production runs. We are expanding into a second facility and are looking for experienced machinists who want to grow their careers in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Develop manufacturing plans based on drawing specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and GD&T
- Set up CNC mills, lathes, Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and supporting equipment
- Configure tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets
- Read, understand, and adjust G & M code
- Monitor production and make adjustments to maintain part quality and tolerance
- Maintain tolerances of +/-.001" throughout production
- Perform in-process and final inspections
- Inspect parts using height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- $35-44/hour + $3/hour swing shift differential

NEED TO HAVE
- Strong CNC machining background
- In-depth knowledge of machine tools, controls, speeds, and feeds
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T
- Strong machine shop math skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork mindset
- Wire or Sinker EDM experience
- Experience in a high-precision, aerospace, or similar manufacturing environment
