Oncology Nurse Practitioner NP or Physician Assistant PA will report to collaborative oncology leadership, partnering with a Medical Director and a Director of Cancer Services while receiving daily support from friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team, including experienced oncology RNs, navigators, oncology pharmacists, radiation therapists, social workers, and palliative care specialists. Oncology Nurse Practitioner NP or Physician Assistant PA will provide new consults, infusion center management, symptom and toxicity assessment, survivorship clinic coverage, inpatient rounding, order optimization in a leading EHR, and participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards—ensuring seamless, patient-centered cancer care across the continuum.
- Provide new consults in oncology care.
- Infusion center management and coordination.
- Symptom and toxicity assessment for patients undergoing treatment.
- Survivorship clinic coverage and follow-up planning.
- Inpatient rounding and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Order optimization within a leading electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards to guide care decisions.
