American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of experience and the ability to float to Med-Surg as needed.

• Work in the Emergency Department of a critical access hospital, trauma level 4
• Floating to Med-Surg required as needed, with OB experience a plus
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00
• Weekend requirement
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling may be accommodated depending on days needed

• Active OR RN license required, Oregon license needed in hand (pending accepted with proof of application)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, TNCC, ACLS (NIHSS, NRP preferred)
• Trauma level 4 critical access hospital experience

• Provide emergency nursing care with potential to float to Med-Surg
• Scrub colors and patterns are flexible
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and cannot be modified after an offer is made
• Cannot request every holiday off, with only one holiday approved
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Previous staff must have been separated for at least 1 year to return as a traveler
