American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active Oregon RN license and ACLS certification.

• Work in the Emergency Department of a critical access medical center
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment

• Active RN license issued by the state of Oregon required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum three years of recent ER experience required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior adverse action on license accepted

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care plans
• Implement care plans and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to maintain a safe, healing environment
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Appropriately delegate duties and coordinate healthcare team responsibilities
• Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
• No radius restriction applies, and local candidates receive the same pay rate as travelers
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Candidates can only be submitted to one facility within the Adventist Health system at a time
