This is a great chance to work at a well-equipped community hospital with experienced OR staff and minimal clinic responsibilities.

• Ongoing: 5 7 days/month (additional dates TBD)

Compensation & Perks:

• Pay: $2,600 per 24-hour call (negotiable)

• Malpractice: Fully covered

Hospital & Role Highlights:

• Setting: Community hospital with Level 3 Trauma Center

• Call Only: In-hospital general surgery + consult coverage

• Call Volume: calls/24 hours

• Average Surgeries: 10/day

• Annual ER Volume: 27,000

• EMR: Epic

• ORs: 10 total, with a highly trained surgical team

• Demographics: Adults 18+, no pediatrics

• Other Staff: Works alongside 1 other general surgeon + APPs

️ Procedures You ll Perform:

• General surgery (adult + trauma)

• Central line & PA catheter placement

• Chest tube insertion

• Vascular access

• Cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, appendectomy, bowel resections

• Trauma management for internal organ injuries

Requirements:

• Board Certified in General Surgery

• Ohio License REQUIRED

• Certs: BLS, ACLS, ATLS REQUIRED

• Clean file only

• Must be available for July dates no exceptions
