We are seeking an energetic and motivated Director of Nursing DON Registered Nurse RN to plan, develop, and direct the overall operation of our Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations which govern our facility.
The successful Director of Nursing DON Registered Nurse RN candidate must be an RN with an Ohio license and a minimum of two years long‑term care supervisory experience. Applicants must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age‑related needs of the residents served and must possess strong organizational skills, a dynamic leadership approach and ambition to positively impact the lives of our residents and staff.
Qualificationsand Responsibilities of Director of Nursing DON RN:
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
- Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year of recent experience in a supervisory role in a nursing care facility
- Organize, develop and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility
- Work directly with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times.
