Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist job at Town and Country Animal Clinic. Oregon, OH. Enthusiastic small animal/mixed animal veterinary assistant needed for our expanding practice on the beautiful Southern Oregon coast with access to the beach, redwoods and wild coastal rivers. Hiking, surfing, fishing and outdoor activities are among the attractions within our small community. Our modern facility and equipment includes surgical CO2 laser, therapy laser, full IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment, Oncura ultrasound, New Tom cone beam CT, digital x-ray (large, small and dental), and an Endoscope.

In addition we also offer our clients acupuncture and stem cell therapy. We see mainly small animals with some equine, bovine, small ruminants and exotics. We are open 7 days a week and our on-call and weekend rotation is shared equally between all veterinary staff. This position is part-time (usually between 20-40 per week). The ideal candidate must have previous veterinary experience, good communication skills, be organized and have the ability to multi task. Candidate must also possess a positive, team oriented attitude. This person must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job; including, but not limited to, lifting (up to 40lbs.) bending and stairs. At times the job may require you to perform work outside.

Experience preferred.
