Overview

Marketplace Pizza/Burger QSR Cook role at Umpqua Indian Development Corporation (Seven Feathers Family).

• Responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the culinary department. Assists the on-duty supervisor to ensure proper food preparation and quality throughout all food outlets.
• Prepares food and ingredients at the beginning of an assigned shift and replenishes during slow periods.
• Creates orders according to menu and supervisor instructions with attention to taste and visual appeal.
• Maintains the kitchen and supply room in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition.
• Assists in maintaining Marketplace inventory, orders, stocks, and rotates items. Dates all perishable items upon delivery. Keeps condiments filled.
• Keeps kitchen clean to include floors, walls, ceiling tiles, equipment (inside and out) as well as deep cleaning projects such as fryers, grease traps, shelves and walls.

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred
• 1 year of cooking experience preferred
• 1 year of cash handling and cash register experience preferred. 18 years of age or older
• Able to read and comprehend written instructions
• Must have administrative/clerical experience
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks at once
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and customer relations skill
• Current Food Handler or Serv Safe Certificate and OLCC License required
• Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License
• Must maintain a clean, neat, and well-groomed appearance at all times (specific standards available)
