, you’ll perform a variety of repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks that keep our facility safe, comfortable, and operating smoothly for residents and staff.

• Perform mechanical repairs on facility equipment including wheelchairs, beds, carts, pumps, fans, HVAC systems, laundry machines, and kitchen equipment.
• Handle plumbing tasks such as pipe repairs (copper, steel, PVC), drain cleaning, and assembly/disassembly of sinks, toilets, showers, and baths.
• Maintain and repair furniture, doors, windows, wallboard, locks, floor tiles, and ceiling tiles.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding; perform painting, plastering, and wallpapering as needed.
• Work with electrical systems (single and poly-phase), installing or repairing motors, starters, switches, and current-limiting devices.
• Support facility systems including paging and call light systems, boilers, and fire protection equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred trade school or technical training.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in general maintenance, building systems, or a related trade.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
