Pay, benefits and schedule- Starting salary of $35-$44 per hour depending on experience
- Shift differential pay of $3 per hour

- Second Shift, 2:30pm start
- No weekends
- Stable hours for financial security and work-life balance
- Repair/maintenance shop at our Arlington, OR site
- Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
- Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts
- Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
- Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
- Safety checks on vehicles; uphold safety as a priority
- Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times
- Assist Diesel Mechanics in project work
- Review, complete or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards
- Perform work in accordance with established safety procedures
- 4 years of heavy-duty truck experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements with or without accommodations
- Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and medical physical
- Team-oriented, capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Likes variety and enjoys solving problems
- Physical exertion including frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing
- Exposure to physical occupational risks (cuts, burns, exposure to chemicals) often
- Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes
- Work in both indoor shop and outdoor conditions
The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $35-$44 per hour. The specific salary offered may be influenced by experience, education, training, certifications, and work location.
