Thomas Sales & Service Ford is seeking a skilled Medium Duty Truck Mechanic to join our team in Madras, OR. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium duty trucks to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on medium duty trucks.
- Maintain and service engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle components.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce future repairs and downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Proven experience as a Medium Duty Truck Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of medium duty truck systems including engines, brakes, and hydraulics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive hourly wage ranging from $45.00 to $90.00, paid semi-monthly.
