Senior Software Engineer, GraphQL

• Collaborate with a team of software engineers to create and maintain Reddit's Graph
  
  QL infrastructure
• Design and deliver solutions to enhance Graph
  
  QL's functionality, scalability, and efficiency
• Investigate and optimize the operation of the platform at massive scale
• Provide feedback on the technical and strategic direction of the Graph
  
  QL platform
• Mentor and support fellow engineers within the team

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale distributed backend systems
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (preferably Go)
• Experience identifying and driving high-impact projects aligned with company strategy
• Familiarity with essential cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS, GCP)
• Excellent communication skills and high empathy for collaboration across the organization

• Specific experience with Graph
  
  QL backend systems
• Experience structuring and implementing complex data models
