• Develop customer-focused software, firmware, and hardware solutions for the Smart Trailer and Connected Equipment team
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to prioritize product development and maintain technical health
• Mentor and support fellow engineers through design and implementation discussions
• Champion Samsara's cultural principles while scaling globally and across new offices
• Participate in customer interviews to ensure development aligns with customer needs and outcomes

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience in software development
• Strong programming fundamentals with proficiency in at least one of the following:
  Go, Graph
  
  QL, Type Script, React
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical discussions effectively

• Experience building and shipping a 0-1 product with knowledge of scaling for growth
• Familiarity with deploying machine learning models in production environments
• Understanding of building for stability and responsiveness to customer feedback
• Prior experience working with geolocation data
