• Drive the technical vision and execution of complex, multi-quarter projects across multiple engineering teams
• Architect and build mission-critical trading systems, including order management and execution engines
• Partner with product management, design, and other functions to align product strategy with technical direction
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineers to foster their growth and development
• Elevate engineering quality through design and code reviews, promoting best practices

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record in large-scale distributed systems
• Deep expertise in trading systems, with hands-on experience in areas like order management and execution algorithms
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives across organizational boundaries
• Strong mentoring skills and a passion for developing team members
• High standards for quality, correctness, and operational excellence

• Experience in building complicated trading systems
• Prior experience in financial markets, particularly equities, FX, or crypto
• Familiarity with regulated environments and compliance design
• Experience with Go or other performant backend languages
• Contributions to open source projects or trading protocols
