Responsibilities and Core Objectives

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates throughout the project stages, offering cost advice and value engineering to design and project teams, and managing project budgets in line with the company’s financial goals.
  • Support head contract execution and compliance
  • Maintain accurate cost control forecasting, and reporting
  • Build strong working relationship with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Review construction documents, interpret drawings and prepare scope of works for contractors.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • A diploma-level qualification in business, administration, law, or a related field OR at least 3 years of relevant experience in contract administration or a similar role
  • Experience working with supplier agreements, procurement documentation, or commercial contracts
  • Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Good written and verbal communication with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3+ years Contract Administration experience
  • Experience in construction industry and end to end tender processes
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand detailed construction plans and documentation and agreements
  • Knowledge of construction codes and standards
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Excel
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, assisting and supporting others
  • Experience with online collaborative work spaces
  • Experience with Google and Microsoft Office
