Department OverviewThe Humanities and Social Sciences Department is a dynamic and growing department with a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration. The department offers undergraduate degrees in Applied Psychology and Population Health Management, graduate degrees in Applied Behavior Analysis and Marriage and Family Therapy, minors in Arts, Letters and Philosophy, Medical Sociology, and Psychology, and a diverse collection of courses in support of Oregon Tech’s general education mission.
PositionSummary
Oregon Tech is accepting applications for Applied Behavior Analysis adjunct instructors. Qualified applicants may be invited to serve as instructors for courses within the department and will be responsible for designing and delivering synchronous courses, developing instructional materials, evaluating student learning, and providing supervision of practicum work in line with BCBA standards.
Responsibilities- Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Develop and update course materials and syllabi.
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Supervise students in practicum settings.
- Maintain communication with faculty and administration regarding course progress.
- Master’s Degree or higher in discipline or equivalent.
- BCBA certification.
- Experience teaching synchronous courses.
- At least 5 years BCBA work experience.
- Strong clinical skills and supervision experience.
- Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard).
- Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching, such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams.
