Job Summary

The Social Sciences Program at OSU – Cascades invites applications for one or more fixed‑term, non‑tenure‑track full/part‑time Instructor positions. The appointments are term‑by‑term for the 2025‑2026 academic year and may be reviewed for renewal or transition to an instructional position at the discretion of the Dean of Academic Affairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and teach course(s) term‑by‑term in Anthropology.
  • Complete course assessment processes and continuously improve teaching effectiveness.
  • Advise students, be available for office hours, complete record‑keeping, and minor administrative tasks.
What You Will Need

Master’s degree in Anthropology, Social Sciences, or a related field is required.

What We Would Like You to Have
  • PhD or terminal degree in a related field.
  • Teaching experience at the college or university level with a strong commitment to undergraduate education, equity, and student service.
Working Conditions / Work Schedule

Work schedule may vary depending upon student needs and engagement in campus and/or program activities.

Pay Method

Pay period: 1st through last day of the month. Pay date: last working day of the month. Salary is commensurate with skills, education, and experience.
