NOTE:

When there are three (3) or more qualified internal applicants for an existing vacancy and all exception requirements for in-house or promotional-only recruitment provided in Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations are met, one (1) of the three internal applicants shall be chosen for the position.

• A written evaluation by an official foreign credentials/transcripts evaluation and translation service must be submitted for Foreign Degree(s) (non-U.S. degrees) by the Final date to receive applications date.

Appointment to the position is conditional upon the approval of the Chancellor.

Employees must satisfy all pre-employment requirements to work for the District which include, but are not limited to:

• Tuberculosis Examination:
  Prior to employment, submit evidence of being free of tuberculosis within the past 60 days. The TB test is a condition of employment and any expense is borne by the candidate.
• Fingerprinting Requirement:
  All employees must be fingerprinted within the first 10 working days of employment pursuant to Education Code Section 88024.
• Immigration Requirement:
  Verify that all new employees are citizens/nationals or legally authorized to work in the United States.
• All new employees must complete and sign a verification form and provide authentication of work authorization.
• District Policy: A Social Security Card will be required following selection and prior to completion of the hiring process.
• Medical Examination:
  Some positions may require a medical examination prior to employment at the employee’s expense.
