in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, the ideal candidate for the senior civil engineer in flood control watershed planning section will possess:

• demonstrated experience in managing professional engineering staff and consultants, including oversight of complex watershed or flood control projects.
• in-depth knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics and related engineering principles and practices.
• strong understanding of fema floodplain mapping, environmental and water quality regulations.
• proven analytical and problem-solving skills for conducting comprehensive flood risk and watershed assessments.
• proficiency with gis and remote sensing tools for watershed modeling and spatial analysis.
