SENIOR TEST LEAD (Cloud – Automation, ETL/DW Automation)

Location: Oregon

Job Summary: The Senior Test Lead in Cloud Automation Testing focuses on leading the testing efforts in the cloud environment, automation testing, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and data warehouse automation. The role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications developed within the cloud ecosystem and data warehousing processes.

• Plan, design, and execute test strategies for cloud applications, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks for efficient and reliable testing processes.
• Lead and mentor the testing team to deliver high-quality results within stipulated timelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify testing requirements and priorities.
• Perform ETL testing and ensure data accuracy and integrity in data warehouse automation projects.
• Develop test cases, scenarios, and scripts to validate data transformations and load processes.
• Monitor test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to cloud testing and data automation processes.

• Proven experience in cloud automation testing, ETL, and data warehouse automation.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in creating and executing automation scripts using tools like Selenium, JMeter, or similar.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data validation, and data reconciliation techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and address testing gaps effectively.
• Ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Certifications in cloud testing, automation testing, or related fields are a plus.
• Relevant certifications in Cloud Testing, Automation Testing, or ETL/DW Automation are beneficial.
