Our client, a Global Petrochemical & Plastics Company, has an excellent opportunity in its world-class ethane cracker and polymers facility for a Senior Instrumentation Reliability Engineer.

This brand new, state of the art facility is among the largest of its kind in the US and is one of the most extensively instrumented facilities in the world. The site continues to break new production records every month and enjoys over 98% reliability.

About the Position

In this key role, you will provide instrumentation and low‑voltage engineering support to a designated area within the site. This includes leading reliability and plant performance improvements, implementing expense and small capital projects, and supporting Maintenance efforts to drive improvements in maintenance work processes, procedures, performance, and cost. You’ll also work closely with Process Engineering, Operations, Turnaround, Capital Project, and Maintenance personnel in the execution of these duties.

Background Desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering
  • 5+ years of I&E Reliability or Maintenance engineering experience in the petrochemical or refining industry
  • Experience in specifying field instrumentation and sizing control valves
  • Experience in developing Preventative Maintenance procedures (PM’s)
